For small around the house tasks, like fixing squeaky hinges, the smaller size is perfect as it tucks away nice in drawer and feel much less industrial than the larger sized. The cap includes a nice spot to tuck the included straw nozzle making it easier to direct the spray.

My grandmother asked me to come over to her house and replace her front door lock. The key had become almost impossible to turn. I sprayed a tiny bit of WD-40 inside the lock and the key worked like new again or maybe even better. It is now smooth as glass.
