I read that Pennzoil Automatic Transmission Fluid is highly recommended as a replacement for Dexron III and has cured slipping in other transmissions. Now I get nice crisp shifts and the transmission feels like it’s new. I cannot say this will fix your transmission, but my car loves it.

The trans I am using requires 10 quarts 0f Dexron 6 which is quite pricey. I have been using Pennzoil in my cars for 50 years now without incident. So when I found this at a decent price I ordered it
